We want to thank everyone who made our 2024 Lubbock and Houston Galas a success!
Our Lubbock Gala was attended by approximately 165 people and outpaced 2023 by raising more than $55,000. It was our first time at Kitalou Gin, and we all appreciated the terrific surroundings. We were glad to honor LaVerne Stolle, who has supported Upbring for more than 40 years, and to pay tribute to the memory of her husband, Cecil Stolle.
At our 12th annual Houston Gala, more than 300 people gathered to bid on items such as Houston Rockets and Astros VIP tickets. Our Wishing Wall also allowed guests to provide shoes, clothing, summer camps and more for children in foster care in the Houston area. All told, we raised an amazing $370,000, including $130,000 for our BeREAL program helping young adults 18–21 transition to self-sufficiency and independence.
