Age: 3

Cattleya is a three-year-old girl looking for a forever family.

Internal hydrocephalus; condition after implantation of a ventriculoperitoneal shunt. Malformative syndrome. Developmental delays. Hemangioma in the area of the left lower leg. Strabismus. Anemic syndrome.

Cattleya, 3, is a happy little girl from Eastern Europe.

She lags behind in motor, physical and neuropsychological development but has recorded progress for the last year.

Cattleya smiles and reacts with her caregivers and has a good emotional tone. She likes to sing and roll around in her crib. She can walk in her walker and when led by an adult. Her specialists believe she will start walking independently very soon.

She sees her doctors regularly and participates in motor skills rehabilitation daily.

Cattleya likes to play with toys, especially musical ones, and share them with other kids.

She is now eating soft foods from a spoon whereas just one year ago she was fed by G-tube.
