Cornelia de Lange Syndrome; heart issues

Olivia is a precious 3-year-old girl currently living in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. Her smile can light up any room and she is very curious about toys around her.

She was diagnosed with Cornelia de Lange syndrome, which leads to slow growth after birth. While she is unable to vocalize a combination of syllables or single words, her caretakers say that her vocalizations go together with her emotions and mood. An evaluation from a speech therapist is currently pending.

Olivia will do wonderfully in an attentive and loving environment.
