Rose is an 11-year-old girl living with a foster family in Eastern Europe. She is physically well developed for her age with mild mental disabilities.
Rose has been living with her foster family since 2019 and she calls them “Grandma” and “Grandpa”. They have been teaching her basic self-care skills and she is now able to clean by herself after eating and make her own bed.
She has made progress in her development and her behavior has improved. She is in the third grade at her local public school. She receives speech therapy and education help by her teachers.
Rose is not shy. She is a bright, young girl who is able to communicate clearly with her peers and adults easily.
