The Krause Children’s Center has a new look! With the support of our incredible donors, Krause received upgrades across the campus to create an updated space where each of our girls feels safe and empowered. Refreshing the building helps us provide a more therapeutic environment to rebuild lives.
For our girls who live at Krause, the children’s center is not a facility. It is a home and a place of healing. When the trauma-informed treatment provided at Krause is paired with a caring and comfortable physical environment where children feel safe enough to address their painful histories, real change takes place.
During the construction, we remodeled the dorm rooms with new paint and wood flooring, added new beds and installed brand-new HVAC units. The shared communal space was updated and we added four sensory rooms and an art room for our girls to relax and enjoy!
The renovated children’s center will serve as a space that promotes recovery and growth to help thousands of more girls in years to come. This life-changing project would have not been possible without the support of friends like you.
Krause Children’s Center provides a comfortable, home-like environment for the girls in our care. The pictures above show some of the campus updates–made possible because of your support. The sensory rooms were graciously donated by Mac Haik to enhance our girls’ healing process and provide our compassionate staff with a useful tool to aid in their care.
