My name is Maria! My loving, little family lives in Central Texas. My son and I are close with our neighbors and church, and we feel so blessed to be in this little corner of the world. We think it’s a great place to be a kid! We work and go to school in the city so we can take advantage of the educational opportunities there. We think we have the best of both worlds! My son, River, and I have a close parent-child relationship. Our home is a place of love and laughter.

I am a teacher for students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. I LOVE what I do and am so honored to be able to serve these children and families.
I have been so blessed in my life to work in a close community of exceptionally loving people; many of my co-workers are my closest friends. I am graduating with a master’s degree in educational leadership in May.
I have school holidays and summer vacations off with my son. The time-off we spend together is always filled with fun and excitement. Our family has a large support system made up of family and friends and my parents are SO excited to welcome a new grandchild!
