For years, St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Austin has partnered with Upbring’s BeREAL program, with volunteers dedicating their time to supporting young adults through the Move-In Ministry. This compassionate group transforms empty apartments into welcoming homes for youth transitioning out of foster care, ensuring they feel supported and valued from day one.
The team recently reached an incredible milestone: their 100th move-in. Their commitment and generosity have gone far beyond their local community — volunteers from St. Martin’s even traveled to Houston to assist with BeREAL’s first Houston-area move-ins.
St. Martin’s move-in team is made up of about 13 volunteers. Their dedication continues to make a lasting impact, one apartment — and one heart — at a time.
