Of all the initiatives Senior Vice President of Organizational Development & Culture Carolyn Paganoi leads at Upbring, she is most proud of nurturing a culture full of mission-driven team members. 

Carolyn is an instrumental part of Upbring, designing high-performing strategic and executable solutions to support performance management, talent acquisition, total rewards and leadership development. She has used her talents to deliver a best in class employee engagement program and culture transformation. 

One of the many examples since she joined Upbring in 2013 as the vice president of human resources is how she re-engineered the department to streamline infrastructure and transition operations to a fully integrated strategic people operations model. Her people-first philosophy has resulted in a decrease in annual insurance and healthcare costs during her first year with the organization, an increase in annual employee retention and reduced management and employee relations issues.

Carolyn's heart for others and commitment to serving others dates back to before her time at Upbring. She served as a Pro Bono Consultant at Taproof Foundation where she addressed talent management challenges through the analysis of HR needs. She also worked as the Director of Human Resources for Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System and BHS Consulting Corporation. 

Carolyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Illinois Benedictine College. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, HR People and Strategy; Austin Human Resources Management Association and Organizational Development Network. Today, she lives in Leander, TX where she enjoys spending her free time with her German Shepherd and two cats.
