The success of Upbring's mission depends largely on two key things: sound finances and efficient operations. Holly Raymond understands not only the importance of these components, but how to maximize both.

As the Chief Financial Officer, Holly directs Upbring’s finance, facilities, budget and procurement functions, as well as information technology and risk. She also oversees the fundraising and community engagement efforts.

Since joining Upbring in 2017, Holly has implemented structural modifications to strengthen financial operations, resulting in 25% overall organizational growth. In her prior role as Senior Vice President of Finance & Risk, she deepened Upbring’s finance and facilities resource capabilities with strategic staffing additions. Her success at Upbring is a testament to her outstanding leadership, determination and servant-hearted commitment to breaking the cycle of child abuse.

Before joining Upbring, Holly served as Chief Financial Officer of Common Threads from 2015 to 2017, where she directed operations and strategy for finance and accounting, human resources, operations and IT. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Finance and operations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, Inc. She has also worked for two accounting firms, Maxwell Locke & Ritter and Ernst & Young.

Holly is a first-generation college graduate, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. She served as a Trustee on the Hays CISD School Board from 2012-2018. She currently serves as the President of the Hays High School Athletic Booster Club, Treasurer for Keeping Communities Connected, and a volunteer at Gethsemane Lutheran Church.
