Prior to her arrival at Upbring in 2017, Ms. Leigh had 15 years of teaching experience in New York and North Carolina. She believes education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world (Nelson Mandela), and she loves watching “light bulb moments” with her students as they grasp new concepts and embrace learning.
Leigh earned a degree in Early Childhood Education in New York, a Bachelor’s in Curriculum and Instruction from State University of New York at Oswego State and has completed her Master’s in Elementary Education.
At Upbring Ms. Leigh has led our 4 year old class to new heights. She accepted the opportunity to launch our new KinderLab program (2021) where Kindergarten and kinder bridge students thrive in a STEM environment with project based learning and playful adventures. She's looking forward to many more years leading Upbring's KinderLab program.
