Rev. Lincon Guerra Jr. is the Mission and Ministry Facilitator with the Texas District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Upon completion of his theological education, Rev. Guerra Jr. received his pastoral ordination with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He graduated from the Center for Hispanic Studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 2010.

Rev. Guerra Jr. studied in the Ministerial Internship Program at the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, and served as North Carolina District Youth Director and Church Planter from 2001 to 2004. He received a call as a church planter in Houston, Texas while working with LINC Houston (otherwise known as the Lutheran Inter-City Network Coalition) and served there from 2004 to 2012.

Most recently, he served as a missionary pastor at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in West Des Moines from 2014 to 2021. As a missionary and community leader, he served the community through spiritual guidance, family and personal support, community outreach events and partnerships with community organizations.

Rev. Guerra Jr. was born and raised in Panama City, Panama. He is the son of the Panamanian missionaries Rev. Lincon Guerra Sr. and Mariela Guerra. The Guerra family came to the United States as missionaries in 1999. Rev. Lincon Guerra Jr. married Noemi in 2001, and they have three children: Joash, Lincon Aaron and Lizzie Noemi.
