Austin, TX – April 29, 2022 – Trinity Charter Schools (TCS), a Texas-based charter school providing educational services to children at Upbring Children’s Centers and Shelters, School Board unanimously voted Tuesday to appoint Keely Reynolds as the next TCS Superintendent effective July 1, 2022. Keely is currently the principal for TCS-Pegasus Residential Treatment Facility in Lockhart, TX, and has been a part of the TCS family for more than 9 years.
“Keely has demonstrated her strong passion for lifting up those we serve,” said Andy Benscoter, TCS School Board Director, and Upbring Chief Education & Growth Officer. “I know she will lead TCS with excellence.”
With 21 years in education, including the past 9 years leading one of TCS’ most vulnerable population of students, Keely brings a vast knowledge in school improvement and parent/community engagement that will positively impact TCS campuses across Texas.
“I am excited for the opportunity to help our district grow by leaps and bounds,” shared Keely. “I will strive to continuously find innovative ways to improve student success by maximizing the learning experience and creating a safe and positive school culture.”
During her tenure at TCS-Pegasus, Keely led campus leadership in districtwide strategic planning and decision making in response to changes in Texas Legislation. She also led the management of the Texas Education Agency’s Pilot Program where she developed mission-specific measures for Residential Treatment Facility Charter Schools and served as District Master/Mentor Teacher Committee Trainer.
Keely earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Speech Communication and a minor in English, a Master of Education with a major in Counseling & Guidance from Texas State University; a Master of Education in Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University; and an Accredited Superintendent Certification from Lamar University.
