Scot Thomas is the President and CEO of STC Safety & Risk Management, a dynamic and fast-scaling consulting firm he founded in 2011. Under his leadership, the company has developed and implemented safety and risk management programs that impact thousands of employees, aligning safety strategies with business objectives and global standards like ISO and ANSI.
A passionate entrepreneur, Mr. Thomas has built a reputation for his expertise in strategic planning, program implementation, organizational change management, and creating accountability frameworks such as the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). He is a Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) and holds additional certifications in field safety and loss control.
Mr. Thomas is deeply committed to community engagement and advocacy. He has volunteered with the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, helping to educate and equip students entering the workforce with essential safety and risk management knowledge. Additionally, he has successfully raised funds to support Upbring’s BeREAL program, which helps young adults transition out of foster care.
In addition to leading STC, Mr. Thomas is a founding member of a private equity group, where he evaluates investment opportunities for long-term alignment with the group’s mission. He is also the founder of Family Blend Hub, which supports large and blended families in creating cohesive, welcoming homes.
Based in McKinney, Texas, Mr. Thomas is married to Barbara Thomas, a health, wellness, and business culture professional. Together, they are raising a modern-day Brady Bunch: Mr. Thomas’s three sons and Barbara’s three daughters. They embrace the great and humbling blessing of blending their large family into one filled with love and shared purpose.
