Kyle Kerrigan believes the future won’t be shaped by putting a 2.0 version on old ideas. The challenges we face require more than incremental change—they demand bold, creative solutions. This belief drives his work as Vice President of Evolution & Innovation at Upbring, where he leads the Evolution & Innovation team, Upbring Innovation Labs, and the organization’s strategic planning.
A forward-thinking strategist with more than 15 years of experience in social entrepreneurship, data and analytics, business development and financial analysis, Kyle combines analytical insight with creativity to advance child wellbeing. He oversees innovation, product development, data science, analytics, and project management—disciplines united by one guiding question: “What impacts child wellbeing?”
Under Kyle’s leadership, Upbring has developed proprietary technologies—VectorPoint®, VectorScape™, and the Child Wellbeing Zones model—that are transforming the way child welfare is approached. These tools move the field beyond intervention toward prevention, helping Upbring, and its partners use data to drive better outcomes for children across Texas.
Before stepping into his current role, Kyle served as Director of Evolution & Innovation, leading the development of Upbring's proprietary technology products. Prior to that, he served as Upbring’s first Director of Data & Analytics, where he elevated the organization’s data maturity and capabilities to design, build, and deliver applied data-science solutions. He joined Upbring in 2018 as Senior Business Analyst with Upbring Innovation Labs, translating bold ideas into practical, mission-driven solutions.
Kyle earned a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and graduated cum laude from DePauw University.
Outside of work, he is an endurance athlete and coach who enjoys running the trails of Central Texas. He and his wife, Alex, live in the Texas Hill Country with their yellow Labradors, Sunny and Dr. Jones.
