Robin Klinghagen is a Director with Andersen, where she advises clients on state and local tax matters, including income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, tax compliance, audit resolution, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Andersen, Robin worked in the state and local tax practices of PwC and Hein & Associates and later founded her own consulting firm, RRK Consulting. She also spent eight years with SONIFI, where she established and managed the company's tax department. Throughout her career, she has led tax due diligence projects, nexus studies, compliance reviews, and other initiatives to help organizations navigate complex state and local tax regulations.

Robin has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including energy, healthcare, and technology. She has also shared her expertise as a speaker for organizations including the Tax Executives Institute, the Energy Tax Association, the Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association, and the Council On State Taxation.

Robin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Dakota and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Robin is a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and lives in Katy, Texas, where she enjoys cycling and spending time with her family and friends. She has a daughter and son-in-law, who serves as a Major in the U.S. Army, and three grandchildren. They are currently stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. She also has a son who resides in Frisco, Texas.
