In her long and dedicated career with Upbring, Krystale Bezio, MSW, LCPAA, has developed a deep understanding of the organization’s mission, programs, and services. She applies this extensive knowledge every day as Chief Operating Officer, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, supervision, and strategic direction across all Upbring’s foster care, adoption, supervised independent living, residential treatment, and education programs. Additionally, she oversees the children’s shelters and the Transitional Foster Care (TFC) program in partnership with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), ensuring the programs operate at peak efficacy.

Krystale’s career trajectory is one of remarkable growth, having started as a Family Services Worker in 2004. Through her unwavering commitment, skill, and leadership, she has risen through eight different positions, culminating in her appointment as Chief Operating Officer in 2024. Among her achievements, Krystale successfully spearheaded the strategic expansion of ORR shelter programs, resulting in nearly $40 million in additional operating revenue. She also led the implementation of the Evolv data management system and developed a robust quality management program tailored to the demographic and epidemiological needs of children and families under Upbring's care.

Krystale holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Tarleton State University and a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. A proud resident of Weatherford, Texas, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and enthusiastically supporting their athletic pursuits.
